Major Flooding/Closures In PSL
We're receiving reports of many Port St. Lucie roads that are impassible due to heavy flooding. It is recommended that people who don't have to drive refrain from making unnecessary trips.
1-95 is closed at St Lucie West Exit #121. Many side roads off of US1 are completely submerged and impassable. Jennings Road being one of the many flooded roads in the area. There is a heavy law enforcement presence on the streets turning many drivers back from traveling in flooded areas.
Brevard County is still seeing strong winds and rain this morning.
Schools Closed Today: St Lucie County, Martin County, Brevard, Okechobee, Keiser University Pt St Lucie and Atlantic University.
Update: St Lucie County schools are closed all week due to flooding.
Schools Open Today: Indian River County, Palm Beach County.
Most Riverside Bank locations will be open today on the Treasure Coast. |
